The Phidian Art Club presents its annual Phidian Art Show at The Loveland Community House, 513 W 2nd St., in Dixon, IL.
The 76th Phidian Art Show opens with the awards reception from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, at Loveland. The exhibit of original artwork is on display on the gallery walls from April 3-25. The Agnes Ferguson People’s Choice Award will be awarded during the show on April 3.
This annual event was started in 1947 by the Phidian Art Club, a group formed in 1890 to promote art, literature, and music. The show puts local artists’ work in the spotlight.
